Meeting notes

Turn the meeting into a useful next step.

A meeting note earns its place when someone can find the decision and act on it later. Start with a shared format, capture the discussion, and keep actions connected to the project.

01

Begin with a repeatable agenda

A Meeting Block can collect the meeting date, attendees, agenda, decisions, and actions. The same template helps recurring meetings keep a familiar shape.

02

Review what was said

Use written notes or an audio transcript as input, then correct names and claims. Keep the decision record distinct from unreviewed spoken wording.

03

Keep actions in reach

Add Markdown tasks where the action was agreed. The Tasks view brings those actions together while linking back to the original meeting note.

FROM IDEA TO USEFUL CONTEXT

Put it into practice.

  1. Prepare the note

Create a Meeting Block and link the project brief or earlier decisions before the conversation.

  2. Capture and confirm

Write notes or insert a reviewed transcript, then state the decisions in clear language.

  3. Leave visible actions

Add checkboxes, link the relevant project notes, and return to Tasks for follow-up.

A FEW USEFUL DETAILS

Questions, answered.

Does Docblock automatically join meetings?

The audio tools record through the browser microphone or accept an audio upload. You choose the input and review the transcript before inserting it into a note.

Can an agent use our meeting format?

An agent with direct write access can discover a saved Meeting type and create a Block from it. Propose-only credentials cannot create Blocks.
